10 Days Uganda Rwanda wildlife Safari & gorilla trekking encounter

The 10 Days Uganda Rwanda wildlife Safari transfer you to both Uganda and Rwanda’s top travel destinations including Bwindi Impenetrable national park and Volcanoes national park commonly known for the mountain gorilla trekking experience.

Day 1: Pickup from the airport

Up on landing at Kigali airport, you will be pickup at the airport by our company representative, who will brief you shortly about your 10 Days Uganda Rwanda wildlife safari program before you are transferred to the hotel for your dinner and overnight stay at Chez lando Hotel: dinner

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park

Today, you will be picked by your driver guide after getting done with the morning breakfast at 7:00 am, and drive off with an en route game drive before exit the park off to Kibale National Park is one of the most visited park, known as the home to chimpanzee which is the most attraction to this park beside nature walk and bird watching. The Park harbors over 1250 chimpanzee and also is known as the primate capital of the world with over 13 primates including the baboons, red colobus monkeys, red tailed monkey, Bush babies, black and white colobus, grey cheeked mangabeys, and much more. You will later check in at your hotel for lunch and spend the rest of the evening relaxing at your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee forest lodge. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

Day 3: Kibale Forest National Park – Chimpanzee Tracking – Bigodi Wetlands

Wake up to the sounds of nature and enjoy breakfast before going chimpanzee tracking to get up close to these human relatives. Kibale is known as home of chimps having over 1250 chimpanzees and over 13 primates making it the primate capital of the World. You will be briefed before getting lost in the forest and you will have great opportunities to have both ground and up sittings. The trekking can last for 2 – 6 hours depending on the chimp movements. You will later return for lunch before heading to visit the Bigodi Wetlands; home to multiple primate species, mammals, over 200 bird species, many reptiles and a large variety of endemic flora and later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth NP. Travel Time +3hrs

After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park viewing the mystical Rwenzori Mountain range for much of the journey. Check in at your accommodation facility as you wait for your lunch. After lunch, take on an afternoon safari game drive to see some of the animals such as the elephants, waterbucks, bush bucks, buffaloes and much more. Return for dinner and overnight stay at Twin Lakes safari lodge. Meals: Breakfast, lunch & dinner

Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Wake up to the call of nature, grab a bite and coffee, and we head off for the morning game drive sightings. We look out for lions, buffaloes, elephants, kobs and much more than nature offers on that day. Later return to have breakfast and relax, as we wait for lunch. After lunch, go for an afternoon boat ride at Kazinga channel, known for their numerous hippos and large Nile crocodiles. The two hours boat ride also rewards you with a great bird experience. You will later return with a brief en route game drive to your lodge at Twin Lake Safari lodgeMeals: Breakfast, Lunch & dinner

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth NP – Bwindi. Travel time +3hrs

Rise very early with your packed lunch take on a morning game drive to catch-up with the early risers and predators returning to their hideouts at Ishasha, where you will undertake a guided game drive in search for the tree climbing lions that this sector is known of, before proceed to Bwindi, to your booked lodge at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & dinner

Day 7: Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today, tick off gorilla tracking from your bucket list! With gorilla permits included, a guide and set off for your gorilla trekking which lasts for 2 -6 hours depending on the group fitness level. Upon finding the gorillas, an hour is allocated for you to watch over them as you take photos, get to know more about gorillas, later return for lunch and relax in the afternoon at leisure at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & dinner

Day 8: Transfer to Rwanda.

Have your morning breakfast and drive to Musanze via Cyanika border then after driving to Ruhengeri, to visit Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village visit to learn more about Rwanda culture, where you will be invite to join local songs and drumming performances, along with simple traditional food with locals. This is a good opportunity to learn about Rwanda’s culture, customs and history.

Dinner and overnight stay at Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & dinner

Day 9: Golden Monkey trekking and transfer to Kigali

You will head for Golden monkey trekking at Volcanoes National Park. The golden monkey trek is just like gorilla trek, though less strenuous than gorilla. You will have an hour with the golden monkey’s later return for lunch. After lunch head drive to Kigali, time allowing, visit Kigali genocide memorial and local market.  Dinner and overnight at Chez Lando Hotel. Meals: Breakfast, Lunch & dinner

Day 10: Transfer to Kigali airport

Meet your guide after breakfast, and transfer to Kigali airport for your flight back home, with great memories.
